Yorktown Heights man arrested in stabbing

SOMERS – State Police have arrested a Yorktown Heights man on a
charge of first-degree assault in connection with the stabbing of another
man at a Somers bar.

Troopers said at about 5 a.m. on December 17, a verbal argument between
several patrons at PJ’s Bar on Route 6 escalated and went outside
into the parking where James Nardella, 23, alleged stabbed the male victim
several times with a knife before leaving the scene.

The 28-year-old victim from Mahopac was treated for several non-life threatening
stab wounds to his torso, hip and arm.

Following investigation Nardella was identified as the suspect and he
was located and arrested at his resident the following day.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of
$25,000 cash bail.
