POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Drug Task Force arrested two men following execution of a search warrant at 159 Washington Street in the City of Poughkeepsie. The warrant search was a result of an investigation into narcotics sales in that area.
Taken into custody were Robert Francis, 30, and Rahshaan Johnson, 29, both of the City of Poughkeepsie. Police seized heroin, scales, packaging material and some $3,000 in cash.
Francis was charged with the felonies of criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance. Johnson was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both were sent to the Dutchess County Jail pending future court action.
The City of Poughkeepsie Police assisted at the scene of the warrant search.
