KINGSTON – City Police in Kingston arrested a New Paltz man on felony charges of two counts of forgery, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
The grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property charges against Jeffrey McKelvey, 58, stem from a utility trailer that was stolen from the area of Kingston Plaza on November 29.
The forgery charge alleges that McKelvey bought and returned goods between November 26 and 28 while using his former employer’s name and account information.
