UNION VALE – A 43-year-old Hyde Park man was committed to the Dutchess
County Jail in lieu of bail on Wednesday on drug possession charges.
Jonathan Maeder was stopped on Route55 in Union Vale for driving a vehicle
with a window tint violation. Investigation led State Police to find 1
½ pounds of marijuana, marijuana wax and marijuana gummy candies.
Maeder was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance
and criminal possession of marijuana both as a felony and violation. He
was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000
cash bail or $20,000 bond.
