TOWN OF WALLKILL – State Police are going to announce an arrest
on Friday on a murder charge in the death of Justin Speights.
Speights was stabbed to death on New Year’s morning outside a residence
in the Town of Crawford where a New Year’s Eve party had been going
on. He was said to have been trying to break up a fight at the time.
Two other men have been arrested and charged with destroying evidence
as they allegedly deleted cell phone video recorded at the time.
Speights was a 20-year-old resident of the Town of Wallkill and a member
of the Silver Lake Fire Department.
