Spring Valley man arrested on stolen property charge, 16 driver’s license suspensions

NEW HEMPSTEAD – A Spring Valley man, who has 16 driver’s license suspensions on six separate dates, was arrested early Wednesday after he was found in possession of stolen property.
At 5:30 in the morning, Ramapo Police were called to a report of a man entering a car that was parked in a driveway on Green Hill Lane in the Village of New Hempstead.
Raneck Pierre, 39, was found in possession of property reported stolen.  Officers also charged him with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle for those 16 suspensions, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, two counts of criminal possession of stolen property and attempted larceny.
Police said additional charges may be pending as the investigation continues.
