Three arrested on drug charges following warrant search in Port Jervis

PORT JERVIS – Two women
and one man have been arrested in Port Jervis on felony drug-related charges.

Port Jervis Police and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Special
Operations Group executed a no-knock search warrant at 16 First Street,
apartment 2 in that city on Wednesday, November 30 resulting in the arrests
of the three apartment residents and the seizure of heroin and cash.

Shareena Jennings, 31, and Jason Degroat, 41, were charged with felony
criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell it.

Joanne Roesch, 39, was charged with the felony of criminal nuisance and
a misdemeanor of endangering the welfare of a child. It is alleged that
she allowed Jennings and Degroat to sell heroin from her residence.

All three were remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of bail, Degroat
on $95,000 cash or $150,000 bond; Jennings on $50,000 cash or $75,000
bond; and Roesch on $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
