Three teens face felony drug charges in Ulster

HIGHLAND – Members of the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team (URGENT) and the Town of Lloyd Police report the arrest of three Highland people for drug possession and sales.
Since earlier this year, URGENT and Lloyd Police have been investigating narcotics sales in the Highland area. Purchases of cocaine were made by undercover officers from Dominick Fanelli, 18, and Travis Cuvelier, 19, both of Highland. On Friday afternoon, November 18, Cuvelier and Nyomi  Miller, 17, also of Highland, were arrested by URGENT and Lloyd Police in a supermarket parking lot in Highland, after arriving to sell cocaine to an undercover officer. Approximately four grams of cocaine were recovered from Cuvelier’s vehicle. Fanelli was arrested at his residence later in the afternoon.
Fanelli and Cuvelier were charged with several felonies including criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale.  Miller was charged with the felonies of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession and conspiracy, all felonies.
All three were sent to the Ulster County Jail.  Bail was set at $30,000 cash bail or $75,000 bond for Cuvelier, $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 secured bond or Fanelli and $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond or Miller.
