NEW CITY – Rockland County will extend its TAPPAN ZEExpress commuter bus service to include added service on Saturdays and first time ever Sunday service.
The additions will make it easier for residents to access Metro-North Railroad service.
On Saturdays, service will be increased by eight new trips between Rockland and Westchester counties, and extending two trips to White Plains.  The Sunday service will operate on the same schedule as the newly enhanced Saturday service.
The bus currently makes 24 trips between Rockland and Westchester on Saturdays, but has no Sunday service.
The MTA Board approved the funding for the enhanced service.
