NEWBURGH – The City of Newburgh has so many vehicles impounded that it must get rid of some as soon as possible.
To that end, City Manager Michael Ciaravino said the city is working with an auction company to unload some of them.
“Our impound lot is currently at capacity and we are looking forward to this new method by which you dispose of vehicles,” Ciaravino said. “Once everything is set up our police department will announce to the public via a press release how you can obtain access to the site.”
City officials hope to thin out the impound soon.
