HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Over
a dozen women protested outside the main entrance to the Trump National
Golf Club of the Hudson Valley on Wednesday, to speak out against presidential
candidate Donald Trump’s “decades of anti-women, anti-immigrant,
and anti-black policies.” He denied any improper advances to women
during Wednesday night’s third and final presidential debate.

The women held signs showing a cat baring its teeth with slogans like “Pussy Grabs Back” as they chanted “GOP hands off me” and “Donald thinks he runs this town, pussy came to shut it down.”
One of the organizers of the protest, Margaret Kwateng, said it is “time for women everywhere to reject both Trump and the Republican Party that has produced him.”  She said the GOP is “at war with all women, and black, trans, poor and immigrant women [who] are impacted first and worst.”
Wednesday’s action in Dutchess County was part of a national wave of similar women-led actions in New York City, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Chicago and Seattle.
