CHELSEA – State Police are investigating the shooting of a person who sustained a non-life threatening injury late Saturday night. The victim was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie.
Investigators from the Wappingers barracks said the incident took place around 10:30 p.m. at the Shadowbrook Gun Club at 33 Chelsea Road in Chelsea. The club was rented out for a private party at the time and a person who was attending was shot by an unknown assailant.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.
