TOWN OF WOODBURY – A 3 ½ mile stretch of Route 32 in the Town of Woodbury is going to receive a facelift. The roadway intersection with Timber Trail to the Woodbury-Cornwall town line will be repaved by the state Department of Transportation. Construction is set to begin later this week and last three to four days.
The $500,000 for the work was secured by Assemblyman James Skoufis.
Another section of Route 32 – 1 ½ miles between the Moodna Creek Bridge in Cornwall to Five Corners in Vails Gate – should be addressed next year, Skoufis said. That stretch needs both repaving and drainage work.
