Kolmar’s large main facility on River Road in Port Jervis
PORT JERVIS – Kolmar Laboratories, a custom manufacturer of cosmetics, skin care and personal care products, is expanding its Port Jervis facilities with the purchase of a 100,000 square foot warehouse.
The company employs 500 people, adding 10 in the new building, said Craig Onofry, director of facilities.
“It certainly secures those jobs in Port Jervis, but also the site comes with some acreage so we are really excited about future potential with what we can do after this first phase,” Onofry said.
The warehouse will provide for 40 percent more storage capacity of components for future growth.
Kolmar is one of Orange County’s larger employers.
