WAWARSING – State Police arrested a Bridgeport, Connecticut woman on felony drug charges after she was found in possession of cocaine while in a parking lot at the Ulster Correctional Facility on Berne Road in the Town of Wawarsing.
Authorities conducted a probable cause search on Saturday and found Zulma Diaz, 50, in possession of some 19 grams of cocaine, a small amount of marijuana and two digital scales. They also recovered a large amount of cash in her car. In addition to the drug possession charge, Diaz was arrested on criminal use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Diaz is in the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
