In Orange County, from Tuesday to Thursday of this week from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., lane closures are expected nightly on I-84 westbound between exit 10 (Route 9W/Route 32) and exit 8 (Route 52), while crews perform construction activities, weather permitting.
The state Department of Transportation advises that motorists should expect delays in both situations. Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zones and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.
Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone and convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver’s license.
