Sullivan County couple charged with distributing heroin from home

TOWN OF BETHEL – A husband and wife from White Lake were arrested and a large amount of heroin was seized with police executed a search warrant at their residence.  Over 4,000 individually packaged bags of heroin were recovered as well as over $4,000 in cash and drug paraphernalia.
Randolph Dauch and Rhandye Dauch, both 61, were each charged with two counts of felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.  Both are in the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail each.
The State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team estimated the street value of the heroin at $40,000.
“Because heroin continues to pose a significant threat to the health, safety and well-being of our community, we will continue to investigate, apprehend and prosecute those responsible for distributing this dangerous drug throughout Sullivan County,” said District Attorney James Farrell.
State Police were assisted by the Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office, Bethel Constables and Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation is ongoing.
