ORMC set to open new Physician Office Building, Cancer Center

TOWN OF WALLKILL – Outpatient services are being relocated from
the Orange Regional Medical Pavilion to the new Physician Office Building
on the campus of Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill.
The new 153,000 square foot, five-story building, attached to hospital,
will include Orange Regional Medical Group, outpatient surgery, diagnostic
imaging, pre-surgical testing, the Ray W. Moody, MD. Breast Center, and
the Dunkelman Diabetes Center and laboratory. Radiation oncology services,
currently in the Medical Pavilion, will be moving to the new Spagnoli
Family Cancer Center.

The Physicians Office Building opens on Monday, September 26.

That cancer center is now located in a 26,000 square foot, one-story structure
connected to the main hospital. It features the most sophisticated and
advanced radiation devices available.

The total cost of the project is $99 million and features beautiful stonework
on lobby walls and artwork painted by locals featuring familiar scenes.

The new physicians’ building also includes a bistro, pharmacy and
a beautiful garden with locally crafted statuettes and water fountain
features, all designed to sooth patients who are undergoing treatments.
