Bomb threat called into golf club

WOODSTOCK – A phoned in bomb threat to the Woodstock Golf Club on Thursday evening is under investigation by police.
At about 5:50 p.m., employees reported a phoned in bomb threat to the club on Mill Hill Road in Woodstock.
Members of the Woodstock, West Hurley and Centerville-Cedar Grove fire departments rerouted traffic away from the area as an explosives detection K-9 from the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department responded to the scene. Following a search, it was cleared and the roads were re-opened at about 9 p.m.
Members of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, Town of Woodstock Police and State Police continue to investigate the incident.
