Hochul studies the intricate tile mosaic on the floor

HYDE PARK – The late Governor and President Franklin D. Roosevelt
is one of her inspirations and Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul came to Hyde Park
on Monday to visit the FDR Presidential Library and home, among the major
tourist attractions of the Mid-Hudson Valley.
Hochul said while visitors to the region are high, more people should see what the area has to offer like the FDR exhibits she attended.
“If we could get people here to see this brand new Day of Infamy exhibit, which I am excited about, talk about, drive more people to the region” she said. “Stay in the hotels as I did last night. Go to the restaurants and explore the Hudson Valley, which is absolutely spectacular.”
The greater Hudson Valley region attracts tens of thousands each year
to visit everything from its scenery, historic sites, and wineries, to
its recreational and cultural activities.
