Berkshire Farms student charged with felony assault following on-site altercation

CANAAN – A student at the Berkshire Farm Center has been charged with felony assault after he allegedly slashed three residents and a staff member with a utility knife.
State Police said Tiquese Wilson, 16, formerly of Schenectady, was among a group of students involved in a disturbance on Monday during which he allegedly pulled the weapon, cutting three residents. When a staffer attempted to break up the fight, he was also cut by the knife.
All four were treated at Berkshire Medical Center and released.
Wilson was also charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon.
