POUGHKEEPSIE – A Poughkeepsie man was arrested early Friday, September 2. Police executed a search warrant at his apartment at 109 Delafield Street and seized heroin and packaging paraphernalia, a stolen 9 mm handgun and $15,000 in cash.
Richie Carter, 20, was charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of a stolen firearm and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both as felonies. He was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail or $40,000 bond.
