GREENBURGH – State Police have released the identity of the man
killed when the motorcycle he was operating on the Tappan Zee Bridge on
Wednesday morning crashed with a truck.
Trooper said Jose Capo, 38, of Nyack was driving in an aggressive manner,
weaving through traffic. It was determined that he lost control of his
bike, crashed into the rear of a pickup truck and was ejected before being
struck by a tractor-trailer.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, Hashani Haqif, 55, of Harrisburg, PA,
was not injured. No charges are pending, police said.
