MIDDLETOWN – As the 2016-17
fall college semester begins, SUNY Orange has added new curricula and
is exploring others.
College President Dr. Kristine Young said the school is responding to the needs generated by the Affordable Care Act with healthcare and public health education programs.  The college is also exploring filling the educational needs for other new job sectors coming down the pike.
“There is a casino to our north, there is possibly Legoland here in our own community so we are having some discussions about what is our response to that in the hospitality field in particular,” Young said.
In Sullivan County where the Montreign casino is being built, SUNY Sullivan
is also developing hospitality programs geared for employees.
