DWI patrol leads to drug arrest

TOWN OF HIGHLANDS – A Highland Falls man was arrested by Town of Highlands Police after his vehicle was observed driving in an erratic manner.
The car was stopped on Route 9W in Fort Montgomery on Friday, August 26 with the driver, Travis Mandile, charged with DWI and criminal possession of drugs.  Police said he was in possession of 119 packets of heroin, four bags of cocaine totaling 1.5 grams and 27.5 grams of heroin.
Mandile was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
