CARMEL – Fortunately, two calls to the Fitzpatrick residence on Glenvue Drive in Carmel over the weekend were false alarms; however, firefighters found the family Labradoodle “Bailey” alone and shaken by the sound of the alarm system. No humans were home at the time of either alarm.
Firefighters obtained the alarm code so they could go into the house to check for any problems and on Saturday evening, Bailey bolted from the front door. He was tracked down and bought home.  The alarm turned out to be a malfunction.
About the same time, at 5 p.m. on Sunday, firefighters were called back to the home for a report of some coming from an electrical outlet. It turns out the reflection of a backyard pool is believed to have charged board on the roofline of the house.  Firefighters again checked the house and everything was determined to be okay, including Bailey.
