Shots fired outside Town of Wallkill strip mall

TOWN OF WALLKILL – An apparent gunfight outside the Subway sandwich shop in the former Caldor mall on Route 211 in the Town of Wallkill is under investigation by town police.
Police Chief Robert Hertman said at about 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, officers
responded to a report of shots fired in the parking lot at the mall at
360 Route 211 East.  Officers discovered an unknown number of shots
were fired during a dispute between several individuals who fled the scene
before they arrived.
