Two Ellenville men charged with drug possession

ELLENVILLE – The Ulster County Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team arrested two Ellenville men on drug possession charges.
Rasean Mack, 31, was arrested at a residence on Cape Avenue in the village last Friday on a warrant for allegedly violating an order of protection in an unrelated case.  He was found in possession of diverted prescription medications and over $800 in cash.  Mack was charged with felony possession of drugs and a violation of possessing prescription medication outside its original container. He was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
Mark Breslin, 37, also of Ellenville, who was with Mack at the time of arrest, was also found in possession of diverted drugs.  He was charged with misdemeanor drug possession and a violation of possessing prescription medication outside its original container. He was released on an appearance ticket.
