Stony Point man arrested for operating marijuana grow house

STONY POINT – A Stony Point man was arrested on Tuesday after town police executed a search warrant at his residence at 3 Lenni Lenape Court and found a marijuana grow operation.
During execution of the warrant, officers found an elaborate operation including ventilation, lighting and several pieces of equipment used in the growing of marijuana, along with numerous plants in various stages of growth.
Vincent Guarino, 36, was charged with felony criminal possession of marijuana and misdemeanor unlawful growing of cannabis.  He was arraigned and released on $500 bail.
The Rockland County Sheriff’s Patrol and BCI Division and the Haverstraw Police Department K-9 unit assisted in the investigation.
