Teen pleads guilty in Sleepy Hollow stabbing death

WHITE PLAINS – A 17-year-old Tarrytown resident pled guilty in
Westchester County Court on Friday to manslaughter in the stabbing death
of another man.

At about 11:12 p.m. on October 9, 2015, Berinzon Moronta stabbed Tahj
Robinson with a knife in the torso including to the heart and lungs while
inside Barnhart Park in Sleepy Hollow.

An investigation revealed that Moronta and several others went to the
park with the express purpose of locating and injuring the victim.

Moronta was arrested the following day by Westchester County Police.

When sentenced in September, he faces 25 years to life in prison.
