Man guilty in vicious stabbing of girlfriend

WHITE PLAINS – A White Plains man was found guilty of attempted murder in the stabbing of his girlfriend with a kitchen knife.
Bairon Farez Llanos, 38, attacked the woman outside her home on July 19, 2015 at 3:45 a.m.  He grabbed her by the ears on both sides of her head until her ears bled. He then stabbed her causing stab wounds to her neck and back shoulder blade, a lacerated ear, a lacerated thyroid gland, and a shredded internal jugular vein.
During the attack, the woman’s son tried to intervene, but Llanos got on top of him, trying to stab the son in the year. The son was able to deflect the know suffering only a laceration to his chest.
Greenburgh Police arrested Llanos the same day.
He was convicted of two counts of attempted murder, assault, attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon.  When sentenced in August, he faces up to 25 years in state prison.
