Former nursing home counselor arrested for sexual abuse

LAKE KATRINE – A former counselor at Northeast Center for Special Care in Lake Katrine was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing two residents at the facility, both of whom suffered from traumatic brain injuries.
Between September and November 2014, Jacky Stanley, 50, of Kingston, allegedly used his position to gain access to a resident several times and forcibly perform sex acts on him. In February 2015, Stanley again allegedly used his position to perform a sex act on another resident while that person slept.
Stanley was suspended and then terminated from the facility based on the allegations of sexual abuse.
He is charged with two counts of criminal sexual act, a felony, five
counts of sexual abuse, as felonies, and related charges. He was sent
to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond. 
If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in state prison.
