WURTSBORO – A Bloomingburg man is in the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail thanks to an alert citizen.
State Police arrested Nathaniel Palmatier, 34, on Tuesday afternoon after a local resident called 911 to report seeing a suspect force his way into a residence and leave later.
A description of the man and his vehicle were obtained and a short time later, he was stopped on Pine Street in Wurtsboro.
Palmatier was charged with felony burglary.
