WAWAYANDA – Police are investigating a bank robbery on Dolson Avenue
just over the Middletown city line in the Town of Wawayanda.
The holdup took place before 4 p.m. when a man walked into the bank and
demanded money. A teller gave him approximately $2,000 with a bait pack
included.
The robber is described as white, wearing a black shirt, khaki pants, red bandana and black glasses. He was said to be about five-feet, 10-inches tall, in his 20s or 30s, and weighing about 140 to 150 pounds.
State Police, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and Middletown City Police are investigating.
