Monticello service station robber in custody

Police needed less than four hours to solve this crime

MONTICELLO – It was no laughing matter, but a man wearing a clown mask held up the CITGO service station on Forestburgh Road in the Village of Monticello Tuesday morning.
The suspect carried a black handgun during the holdup after 7:30 a.m.  Some 3½ hours later, the suspect was in custody.
Police have not released the suspect’s name.
