Fatal fire victim succumbed to smoke inhalation, authorities say

CONNELLY – The man killed in a house fire in Ulster County on Monday morning was identified as Arthur Tune, 72, who appears to have succumbed to smoke.
Firefighters in Connelly were called to the house on Second Street just before 2:30 a.m.  Tune’s body was recovered from the house once the flames were extinguished.       
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
