PORT EWEN – A Port Ewen man was arrested by members of the URGENT Task Force on drug charges.
Since earlier this year, URGENT officers have been investigating the sale of narcotics in the Town of Esopus.
On July 20, officers arrested Joshua Bahl, 26, on charges of felony attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance and misdemeanor of selling an imitation controlled substance. Police said in one instance, a substance represented to be heroin, was a different, non-narcotic substance. Bahl is in the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
