FALLSBURG – Metallized Carbon Corporation broke ground Wednesday for a new 15,000 square-foot factory in Fallsburg, which will manufacture products for the company’s Metcar Aerospace Materials Division. The company’s main operation is in Ossining.
The new facility will create 10 full-time jobs and preserve 117 jobs at its Westchester factory, company officials said.
President Matthew Brennan said the “strategic incentives provided by the state will allow the company to grow and provide additional important manufacturing jobs to the economy.”
The incentives from the state include up to $310,000 in Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits and a $650,000 capital grant.
The company had considered moving to Virginia.
