Man robs Kingston bank

KINGSTON – Police are looking for a lone robber who walked into
the Rondout Savings Bank branch on Schwenk Drive Wednesday afternoon and
demanded cash from a teller.

The robber is described as a man, about five-feet, eight inches tall,
wearing a black hat, black sunglasses, black short-sleeve shirt, dark
pants and white sneakers.

He fled the bank toward Dutchess Village Apartments on Washington Avenue.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Kingston Police are being assisted by the Ulster County District Attorney’s
Office, State Police, State Police Aviation Unit, Ulster County Sheriff’s
Office and Town of Ulster Police Department.
