Man arrested as New Jersey fugitive

PORT JERVIS – A Port Jervis man is in the Orange County Jail on a charge of being a fugitive from justice, a felony, based on a warrant issued by the Ocean County, New Jersey Superior Court.
James Oblinger, 35, was arrested on Wednesday by Port Jervis detectives and police officers on Pike Street after receiving information from the public that he was wanted by New Jersey.
He is being held without bail pending extradition proceedings to send him back to the Garden State.
