Two shot, wounded, in Kingston

KINGSTON – A man and woman were both shot in the leg Wednesday night and Kingston Police are investigating.
At about 9:35 p.m., police were called to 70 Henry Street for a victim of a gunshot. They found a 29-year-old woman with a wound to her leg.
At about 9:50 p.m., officers responded to the HealthAlliance Broadway Hospital Campus for another victim. This time, a 20-year-old man had sustained a gunshot wound to his leg.
Both were treated and later released.
A police news release did not indicate whether the shootings might be connected.
The investigation is continuing.
