TOWN OF GOSHEN – Hundreds of Orange County residents, civilians and police officers alike, joined in prayer Tuesday evening in front of the sheriff’s office in Goshen to pay their respects to the residents of Dallas, Texas and the five police officers gunned down by a man before he was killed by officers.
Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus said the county is with the rest of the nation.
“We stand in solidarity with Dallas and this nation as we mourn and as we move forward and as we move forward, and as we move forward we are going to learn from this as to what our priorities are,” Neuhaus said.
Orange County Clerk Annie Rabbitt was full of emotion.  She said many of her family members, including her husband and children, have served in law enforcement.
“We’re sad and we’re mad and we’re angry, but we show respect for the people who serve in this great country,” Rabbitt said.
Sheriff Carl DuBois and District Attorney David Hoovler coordinated the service.

Dozens of citizens, law enforcement, attended the memorial
