KINGSTON – Mayor Steven Noble recently discharged all members of
the members of the Kingston Ethics Board, citing his plan to overhaul
the city ethics law to include more appropriate requirements and enforceable
restrictions.

On Wednesday he announced that he has appointed dive individuals to serve
as temporary members of the ethics panel.
Noble said he has also been made aware of a complaint filed by Joseph
DiFalco, which alleges that Noble’s administration inappropriately
handled the most recent ethics complaint DiFalco brought against the former
Third Ward alderman. “I can say confidently and without hesitation
that his assertions are unfounded and untrue,” the mayor said.

Having said that, Noble said he takes the role of the ethics board seriously
in hearing all formal complaints and have selected a temporary board.
They will meet in the coming weeks to hear the DiFalco complaint, “proceed
with their process and make their determinations.”

Names as temporary ethics board members are Patricia Murphy, Arthur Coston,
Jose Villa, Glenn Fitzgerald, and Allen Nace.
