MONTGOMERY – The undefeated Montgomery Intermediate Little League Allstars are heading to Penfield today to compete for the first time in a state tournament, the first Montgomery Little League team to do so. Their first game is Wednesday (tomorrow).
The team, comprised of 12- and 13-year-old boys, is coached by Ron Feller,
who said the players are all pumped up for the series. They aren’t
the only ones; the adults are equally as excited.
“People are giving up vacations; people are giving up work to come up there,” Feller said. The team is also holding a fundraiser at GoFundMe to help offset some of the expenses of the trip.
Fourteen players are traveling to the Rochester area for the competition.
