Orange County vigil to remember Dallas police officer victims

GOSHEN – Orange County officials will hold a vigil at 6:00 this evening at the sheriff’s office in Goshen to remember the victims of Thursday’s police shootings in Dallas, Texas.
Five officers were killed and seven others wounded during the rampage by a heavily armed gunman who was killed when police sent a bomb-carrying robot into the building when the shooter was hold up.
Participating in the local commemoration will be County Executive Steven Neuhaus, Sheriff Carl DuBois, District Attorney David Hoovler and local police personnel.
The sheriff’s office is located at 110 Wells Farm Road in Goshen.
