STEWART AIRPORT – One of Stewart Airport’s two fixed base
operators has changed. Airborne Aviation has left the airport and Signature
Flight Support has replaced it. Signature now joins Atlantic Aviation,
the other FBO, in providing fueling, ground services and other functions
for airlines, corporate and generation aviation aircraft.

Stewart Manager Ed Harrison said Signature operates worldwide and will
bring with it to the Hudson Valley its history with two of the Port Authority’s
other airports.

“Signature has operations at Teterboro and Newark International
so we expect to be working with them and take full advantage of the Port
Authority’s partnership with them to develop more business for this
airport,” he said.
“Our long-standing collaborative relationship with the Port Authority
of New York/New Jersey is exemplary,” said Signature Flight Support
President Maria Sastre. “Signature has invested heavily in the two
states and we have a long-term, optimistic view for business and general
aviation in New York and New Jersey.”

In addition to the Port Authority’s facilities served by Signature,
the company also provides service at Westchester County Airport; Atlantic
City, New Jersey, which is also managed by the Port Authority; Syracuse;
Trenton Mercer Airport and Morristown Municipal Airport, both in New Jersey.
