Injuries not believed serious but one deputy was held overnight for observation
TOWN OF GOSHEN – Two Orange County sheriff’s deputies were injured Tuesday morning when the marked SUV in which they were riding rolled over when it ran off Route 17A in the Town of Goshen.
Both officers were transported by ambulance to Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. One was treated and released and the other being held overnight for observation. The airbags deployed, preventing further injury.
The deputies were on their way to a burglary in progress call around 7 a.m. when the accident occurred.
