WHITE PLAINS – A Dobbs Ferry man was sentenced in Westchester County Court on Tuesday to 10 years of probation after pleading guilty in January to promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing an obscene performance by a child, both as felonies.
Jason Alexander, 52, admitted to possessing and file-sharing illegal and obscene performances of sexual conduct by children under the age of 17.
A district attorney’s office investigator traced an IP address in Westchester to Alexander. A warrant search was conducted at his home and digital files of children engaged in pornography were found on his computers.
In addition to his probation sentence, he must register as a sex offender.
