FISHKILL – Belinda Poblete of Sloatsburg is $4.6 million richer having won the $7 million CASH4LIFE state Lottery game.
She was at the Lottery’s Fishkill office on Thursday to claim her
$7 million ceremonial check from the Lottery’s Yolanda Vega.
While she is an avid lottery player, she purchased a CASH4LIFE ticket for the May 26 drawing on a whim.  She went to work the following day and got a call from her mother who urged her to come home because she had picked all the winning numbers.
Poblete went home, checked the numbers online and went numb.
“It’s still unbelievable,” she said.  “I am an official millionaire, I guess. It is overwhelming. I’m just so happy. It hasn’t sunken in I guess.”
Poblete will take home the $4.6 million as a lump sum after taxes.  She plans to pay off the mortgage, plan for the future and take a vacation.
The winning numbers were 4-13-26-34-43 and Cash Ball 3.
