VILLAGE OF FLORIDA – A man, who said he was arguing with his wife
on the phone while he sat in his white Mercedes Benz while parked at the
Glenmere Lake Park in the Village of Florida, got out of the car without
realizing he did not leave the transmission in park, and it rolled into
Glenmere Lake.
Authorities were called by the man at around 4:20 p.m., telling them no
one was in the car and he was not injured.
Florida Village Police responded to the scene and the Florida Fire Department
was called to aid in recover of the vehicle.
